She is the head of the interdisciplinary Technologies in Practice research group and since 2016 has co-directed the ETHOS Lab. Since 2009, she has studied research ethics processes in the Asia-Pacific region. At the IT University her interests have grown to encompass the anthropology of technology, through the politics and problematics of data production and use in biomedicine and the state. Current work includes interrogations of data deletion, accountability and the intersections between research ethics and data protection. She works ethnographically.
